A junior football club started the new season in a brand new home kit, thanks to Coventry IT firm PS4B.
The company sponsored Croft Juniors Under-13s Blues, a side run by Lee Corden, a director at Coventry public relations firm PLMR Advent and a PS4B client of many years.
There is a bit of history behind it. PS4B was set up by Richard Hooper, who spent close to ten years coaching grassroots football himself, running his son George’s Finham Park Rangers team. George now works in the family business.
Richard said: “We know how important it is to get support for running the club so when we were asked if we could sponsor Croft Juniors, we were only too happy to help.
“Sport is massive when it comes to giving kids opportunities to stay fit, socialise and build confidence. We wish the team every success in the new season.”
Lee added: “We’ve always had a great service from Richard, George and the team at PS4B but we’ve also got to know the team there having worked with them for so many years.
“Richard has kept me informed on how his side were doing and it was a proud moment for him in taking the team to the cup final in their last ever game.
“Knowing he had that passion for grassroots football is the reason I approached PS4B for support and the new kit looks absolutely fantastic. We’re so grateful for the support.”
Croft Juniors Under-13 Blues play in the Leicester & District Sunday Juniors League.
Backing local sport is not new for us. We also spent a season sponsoring a young kart racer from Coventry, which went rather better than most of us expected.
