Microsoft 365 Support & Setup
in Coventry and the West Midlands
Microsoft 365, set up properly and managed by people you can talk to.
Overview
What Microsoft 365 looks like when it's done well
Most businesses we speak to are already on Microsoft 365 in some form. Outlook for email, perhaps a few Word licences, sometimes Teams. The platform's there. What tends to be missing is the work around it. Tenancies were often set up in a rush, with licences that don't quite match what people are doing day to day. Files sit across SharePoint and OneDrive without much of a system. The security side rarely gets finished off properly.
We help businesses across Coventry and the West Midlands get onto Microsoft 365 properly, or sort out what's already there. Whether that's a fresh setup, a move from Microsoft Exchange or Google Workspace, or working through what's been left half-finished by a previous provider. We also provide and manage the licences for you, so you won't be dealing with Microsoft directly. When something needs changing or adding, you've got someone to ring.
Where we help
Most of our Microsoft 365 work falls into four areas. Some clients come to us for one of these and end up using us for all of them. Others have a specific job in mind. Either way, this is the shape of what we cover.
Migration
Moving over from Exchange, Google Workspace, or another platform, with email and files brought across cleanly so people aren't hunting for things on day one.
Tenancy and Licensing
Setting up a Microsoft 365 tenancy from scratch or tidying up an existing one, including the right licences for what your team actually does.
Setup and Configuration
SharePoint sites, OneDrive, Teams, shared mailboxes, and the bits of admin that decide whether the platform feels organised or chaotic.
Security and Access
Multi-factor authentication, conditional access, who can see what, and the controls that keep your data inside the business.
Migration
Moving to Microsoft 365
A migration is the part most businesses worry about, and not without reason. Done badly, you end up with email outages on a Monday morning. Files turn up in places nobody's looking. The team loses confidence before they've really started. Done well, it should barely register.
Most of our migrations fall into one of three patterns. Moving off an on-premise Exchange server is largely about getting mailboxes across to Microsoft's hosted environment without losing anything in transit. We handle the mail flow, the cutover, and that Monday morning when everyone opens Outlook and finds things where they left them.
A move from Google Workspace involves a bit more. Email, calendars, and Drive content all need remapping to the Microsoft equivalents, and people usually want a hand getting their bearings.
Fresh setups are the most open-ended. There's licensing to work through, the structure of SharePoint and OneDrive, and the email domain side to sort before anything goes live.
Licensing
Licensing without the headache
Microsoft 365 licensing is needlessly fiddly. There are several plans, each with its own mix of apps and limits, and what's right for your team often comes down to small details. Whether a person needs the desktop apps installed locally or only uses them in a browser. Whether they need a full mailbox or a shared one. Whether they're handling client data that needs particular controls. We work through this with you, so the licences you pay for actually match what people use.
We also provide and manage the licences directly. That means you don't end up dealing with Microsoft for billing, renewals, or changing plans. When someone leaves, we take their licence back. New starter? We add a licence the same day. If a team needs to move to a different plan partway through the year, we sort it out without you having to ring Microsoft.
Security & Access
Keeping the right people in, and everyone else out
Microsoft 365 has plenty of security tools built in, but they need turning on, configuring, and reviewing as the business changes. We start with multi-factor authentication on every account, paired with conditional access rules that control where people can sign in from and on what kind of device. From there it's permissions: who can get into which SharePoint sites, who can see shared mailboxes, and what happens to an account when someone leaves.
Microsoft keeps the platform running. You own your data. We handle the bits in between.
We can walk you through what that means for a business your size, and there's a separate page on the backup side of things.
